Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a discount by hand?
Multiply the price by the percentage and divide by 100 to get the saving, then subtract it. 25% off 80 is 80 x 25 / 100 = 20, so you pay 60.
How do two discounts in a row work?
They do not add up. First apply one discount, then apply the second to the new price. 20% off and then 10% off equals 28% in total, not 30%.
